Bernardo “Pigmeu” Miranda is from Recife, Brazil. He surfed well in this WQS Lanzarote contest, just losing in the final to an in-form Drew Courtney. He made some crazy backhand barrels, before leaning into really committed floaters as the wave thumped down over the La Santa reef.
